Business Intelligence Reporting Manager

Overview of Job Function:
The Business Intelligence Reporting Manager is responsible for managing the Business Intelligence Reporting team as well as architecting BI solutions to include preparation of a reporting strategy.
Principal Duties and Essential
Responsibilities:
Manage daily support activities to include Business Intelligence and Reporting.
Responsible for resource planning to include scheduled upgrades, resource utilization and allocation and detailed risk analysis.
Responsible for managing the Business Intelligence Reporting team as well as architecting BI solutions to include preparation of a reporting strategy.
Ability to evaluate tools and reporting solutions relating to BI Past hands-on experience with Oracle eBusiness suite.
Ability to architect Hyperion, OBIEE, Discoverer and other reporting tools.
Responsible for implementing and helping to evolve the technical procedures, standards and security in managing these environments. This will also include building a scalable and efficient service delivery model.
Manages BI Development functional activities for team and contributes to overall service delivery.
Coaches team on topics of how to apply industry best practices to maximize service delivery
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in IT with a primary focus on Business Intelligence architecture in Oracle related technologies
A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience with Oracle eBusiness suite, OBIEE and other reporting tools.
A 4-year degree in a related field or the equivalent number of years of work history.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Must be detail-oriented, have strong organizational skills and be able to manage multiple projects and manage deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC and Social Security verification.
Successful completion of a credit check necessary for those travel-related roles that will require the candidate to obtain the appropriate credit line required to travel.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct reporting relationship across multiple geographically dispersed locations.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience with COGNOS and HYPERION.
