We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Electrical Project Manager to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to a vibrant and progressive construction company.
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and executing electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in adherence to high safety standards.
You will be at the forefront of our projects, leading our team to success through strategic planning, effective negotiation, and meticulous budgeting.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, construction managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Monitor project progress, address potential issues, and propose effective solutions.
Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing procedures and standards and complying with legal regulations.
Develop and manage project budgets, negotiate contracts, and manage resource allocation.
Implement risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
Foster relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management in the construction industry, specifically managing electrical projects.
Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and regulations.
Proficiency in project management software tools.
Exceptional leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects under tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to overcoming challenges and obstacles.
