Position Overview:
As a Commercial Insurance Producer, you will play a vital role in expanding our client base and contributing to the growth of the agency. This position requires a proactive and entrepreneurial spirit, with a focus on generating leads through a hands-on, boots on the ground approach. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with business clients, understanding their insurance needs, and providing them with customized solutions.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and generate new business leads through a hands-on approach.
- Conduct on-site visits, meetings, and networking events to build a robust network of clients.
- Analyze prospective clients' insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with underwriters to ensure accurate policy proposals.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market conditions.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Producer or in a similar sales role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverage.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads and close deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
- Willingness to travel and engage in a boots on the ground approach to business development.
- Insurance producer license in State is required.
