Description and Desired Qualifications
CH2M HILL - Project Manager Careers - Montgomery, Alabama
The challenge? Providing exceptional quality control services to support government client. OurProject Quality Managerreports directly to the project senior management and is responsible for directing and maintaining the quality assurance program for a base operations and maintenance contract atUSAF Air Education and Training Command's (AETC) Maxwell Gunter Air Force Base,per company and contract requirements. Each day, you will function as a manager implementing the project quality program. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, team-focused individual who has experience with methods for effective operations and maintenance services project execution and ISO 9001 standards; and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally.
The Quality Manager:
Develop, implement, and enforce the project Quality Control Plan
Monitor client feedback surveys, process and review results and actions
Collect, track, analyze, and report overall results, including trends, for quality metrics
Provide or ensure training of program personnel on quality programs and processes
Manage CAPA process including review of issues, assignment of resources, and closure of actions
Manage internal process audits and ensure coordination with Project Manager
Perform vendor and subcontractor system audits as necessary
Coordinate and facilitate process improvement teams
Perform project system and performance audits
Update the QA/QC program to keep current with contract changes and new regulations
Provide technical support on QA/QC related issues
Manage and maintain quality system documentation
Additional Information:
Role requires successful completion of multiple contingencies to include an Employment Background Check, Physical and Drug Test
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience with quality systems, including ISO 9001and military quality management programs; or a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in place of the Bachelors degree and relevant quality control manager experience on operations and maintenance facility services type contracts
Ability to demonstrate an advanced knowledge of continuous quality improvement concepts, principles, and theories for organization-level performance excellence
Ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the plan/do/check/act cycle
Candidate must have ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) Common Access Card (CAC). To obtain, must be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Qualifications
Certified ISO 9001 Internal Auditor
