We are seeking individual that is passionate about design and will be excited about contributing to diverse projects and working with extremely talented creative people. The Sr. 3D/Environmental Designer will demonstrate design problem solving methodologies on projects from concept to completion.
Design exhibitions (commercial or cultural) that have aesthetic appeal, are practical (from a cost perspective), and can clearly communicate the client's message, concept and image to audience.
Collaborate with strategy, sales and design teams to determine project approach establish design parameters based on opportunity, time frame and budget.
Participate in strategy and discovery sessions with client as well as presentations to the client
Develop a genuine understanding of the client's brand, products, needs and objectives, as well as the motivations behind customers' buying decisions
Support and drive the creative process
Provide motivation and demonstrate creative leadership to team members
Respond to input and changes to project parameters be developing alternative designs while maintaining concept continuity.
Collaborate closely with account team and estimating to ensure solutions are financially viable
Adhere to budget and timelines
Meet with and brief suppliers in all areas of the project
Interpret the client's needs and develop a concept to suit their purpose.
Estimate the time required to complete the work and provide quotes.
Think creatively and innovatively to produce new ideas and concepts within the constraints of cost and time.
Keep abreast of emerging technologies in graphics design.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years professional design experience
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely; verbally, in writing and through sketches
Able to solve complex problems and make decisions under the pressure of time limits
Ability to complete task with accuracy and with strong attention to detail.
Must have a strong grasp of basic design principles and techniques in order to perform many tasks.
Must have the ability to work on multiple projects at one time
Must have experience working to meet project timelines
Solid experience with AutoCad, 3D Studio Max, SketchUp and Adobe CS - InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in architecture, product design, theater design or other related fields
