Responsible for ensuring accuracy and effective use of the Cost Accounting/Decision Support System for the organization. Manages import of Encounter/GL data from source system into Cost Accounting/Decision Support System. Develops and maintains all associated Cost Accounting tables and datasets, such as departmental RVU's and payor reimbursement models. Takes initiative to create information from a sea of data, and interacts with senior management to influence decision-making based on accurate Cost Accounting and product-line profitability analysis. Manages process to develop and report consistent system-wide allocation statistics for use with management reporting and Cost Accounting system. Collects statistics and maintains Cost Accounting statistical datasets and tables for multiple BH entities.
Education /
Experience: Bachelor's degree required/5
years experience in Healthcare with Cost Accounting experience. Relational database and advanced spreadsheet skills required.
License / Certification: none
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Exposure to multiple software tools utilizing internet and intranet functionality.
Proficiency with the following office equipment:
Telephone, Copier, Fax, Personal Computer, Ten Key Calculator.
Excellent oral communication skills.
Personal organizational skills.
Ability to successfully complete work within rigid time constraints.
Reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
This includes the potential for traveling up to 60 miles to other facilities.
Participation in multi-person discussions is frequent.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
