Qualifications:
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade (GS-11) or equivalent. Specialized experience which includes planning, organizing, and overseeing the activities of a logistics readiness operation ensuring deployment and contingency support requirements comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:
Applicants must have served at least 52 weeks at the GS-11 or higher grade (or equivalent in an alternate pay system) within the Federal Civil Service to be considered for referral. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of a wide range of federal and agency logistics concepts, principles, practices, procedures, and regulations applicable to a full range of logistics management to include cargo movement, supply requirements, structure and processes, equipment and vehicles management, storage, deployment planning and operations, global fuels and cryogenics, and logistic plans under peacetime and wartime conditions to develop and recommend policies and procedures for the squadron. 2. Skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations. Skill in analyzing issues and formulating solutions to complex problems. 3. Ability to plan, organize and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization. 4. Ability to mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization. 5. Ability to identify, analyze, and translate complex information, make appropriate judgments, and evaluate options concerning base readiness. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. 6. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures. OTHER SIGNIFICANT FACTS:
1. This is an ART position. The incumbent is required to meet and maintain Air Force Reserve requirements. Work schedule will be aligned to allow incumbent to fully participate in unit training assemblies. The incumbent's regular assignments are primarily ART duties; however, the incumbent may also be assigned some non-ART duties, generally not to exceed 30 percent of total responsibilities. 2. The incumbent may be required to fly in commercial or military aircraft for performance of TDY. 3. Must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance, Secret. 4. Mobility is a condition of employment. The employee must sign an Air Force-wide mobility agreement. 5. Incumbent must be willing to move/transfer to another unit/ location on a lateral or promotion as directed by HQ AFRC. 6. This is a key management position in which the incumbent is required to formulate, determine or influence training policies of the unit to which assigned. 7. The incumbent must possess demonstrated leadership and managerial abilities essential to successful accomplishment of the responsibilities inherent in a senior command position PART-TIME OR UNPAID

Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK
Experience:

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
