t Alabama Crown Distributing Co.
is looking for a Merchandiser in Montgomery AL.
Alabama Crown is a full-service alcoholic beverage distributor with wholesale operations doing business in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee.
The position is to help enhance Alabama Crown's presence in retail outlets, in regards to customer service.
Responsibilities:
Must maintain optimum store conditions.
Develop and maintain communication with management, store owners and sales representatives.
Will travel to various customer locations to build displays, install POS, clean and maintain shelving and ensure optimum placement of advertising material.
Show professionalism in all areas at all times:
Attire, Conduct, Time Management, Relationships, Proper/Thorough Follow-up, and Sales Presentation/Proposals.
Carry out all phases of the job responsibilities as directed by upper management.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have high school diploma or GED equivilent.
Must be able to lift at least 45lbs.
occasionally/frequently to build displays and stock shelves with product.
Knowledge of similar industry is preferred.
Must have good people/communication skills and willingness to work with store owners, managers and sales reps.
Must be able to push, pull and carry cases of product (i.
e.
building displays and stocking shelves).
Must be able to work long & flexible hours.
Must possess a valid Alabama driver's license.
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to maintain 100/300/100 insurance limitations.
Motor vehicle record will be pulled to establish employment eligibility no DUI, reckless driving, or hit and run in past 5 years no more than two moving violations in past three years Background checks (i.
e.
Police backgrounds, reference checks) Drug free workplace.
