Industrial Maintenance Supervisor
The Maintenance Supervisor is a 2nd shift position that is a 12 hr shift position.
Working 36 hours one week then 48 hours the next week.
This person will be responsible for leading and directing maintenance mechanics to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on different machines.
Blo mold or filler experience is preferred but not required.
Candidates with an automotive background specifically brakes and working on dial calipers genuinely do well in this role.
Candidate must have excellent decision-making skills and be fluent in maintenance in general.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Interview hire and train associates Address complaints and resolve problems Builds positive associate morale Develop and implement scheduled Preventative Maintenance (P.
M.
's) Develop work schedules for the mechanics Direct mechanics in performing proper and correct repairs Enforce parts room procedures to help ensure that proper parts are available when needed Directly supervises Maintenance employees WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Minimum age 18 years old Valid Drivers license Strong communication and problem-solving and time-management skills Regular prompt attendance is an essential function of the job Strong leadership and organizational skills Proven ability to coach and manage the needs and concerns of multiple associates Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure Ability to effectively adapt to change MINIMUM REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Associate degree (A.
A.
) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school:
or 6 months to 1 year relayed experience and/or training:
or equivalent combination of education and experience Blo mold or filler experience preferred Effective use of all maintenance operating systems up to and including Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Production Line Monitoring System (PLMS)
