Summary:
Assist the Controller with a variety of financial activities as required.
Position requires an advanced understanding of accounting principles and complex financial transactions.
Assigned duties may include the following:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein.
Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by Envolve and its affiliated companies.
Assist the Controller with a variety of financial activities as required.
Position requires an advanced understanding of accounting principles and complex financial transactions.
Assigned duties may include the following:
Review, reconcile and finalize monthly financial statements for both property and corporate entities; Post monthly government housing vouchers from local housing authorities; Review and make adjustments to tenant ledgers as necessary; Review financial data and provide reports as requested to management; Supervision of bookkeeping staff; Provide support and assistance to other accounting department personnel as needed.
Regular and predictable attendance.
The ability to work cooperatively with others.

Responsible for ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times for yourself and the company.
Other duties as they may be assigned.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
College Degree; and/or 3 to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, correspondence and memos.
Ability to write correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a many concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATIES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
These will be up to the Controller.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
