Senior Cloud Computing Cyber Engineer with Security Clearance
Description SAIC is seeking a Senior Cloud Computing Cyber Engineer for the SAIC Cloud One Digital Engineering TeamThis team is responsible for the architecture, engineering and sustainment of the Air Force Cloud Digital Engineering platform currently deployed on AWS and Azure CloudThis work supports the Cloud One Digital Engineering program under the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center Office for Network Integration (AFLCMC/HNI)Cloud One is an existing global, interconnected, virtualized, hybrid, and IT infrastructure hosting mission systems, applications, services, and data serves the U.
SAir Force (USAF) and other Government CustomersCloud One facilitates the Government's efforts to migrate applications to a cloud environment, allowing the closure of data centers to support the Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI) and allowing for increased efficiencies across the entire spectrum of the USAF operationsThis position is hybrid remote with 80% of this work performed onsite at either Hanscom AFB, Gunter AFB, Charleston, SC or Andrews AFBQualifications Required Education and
Experience:
o Bachelor's and five (5) or more years' of experience; Masters and three (3) or more years' of experience in an IT related fieldAdditional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Required Clearance:
o Active Interim Secret clearance required to start; Ability to obtain a Secret clearance required to maintain employmento US Citizenship required Required Certifications:
o Security
or Equivalent Required Experience and Skills:
o Demonstrated experience with:
AWS and Azure Clouds, Networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, SQL, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, and Guacamoleo Knowledge of and experience working with DevSecOps tool chainso Experience preparing technical documentationo Experience working in a team environment with the ability to mentor junior team memberso Proven experience remediating IAVA vulnerabilities and preparing SAR reportso Experience configuring and troubleshooting cloud, virtual, and physical hardware and software systemso Experience proactively identifying and resolving operational, tooling and process inefficiencieso Experience preparing and interpreting ACAS and SCAP for vulnerability scanning Desired Experience and Skills:
o AWS or Azure Cloud Certification with experience as Cloud Engineero Zero trust architectureso AF Cloud One or Platform 1 development, engineering, operations and sustainmento Desired experience installing DE tools including Cameo, SPARX, MathWorks, and AFSIMo In-depth understanding of, and experience as a cloud engineer with AWS, Networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, SQL, storage, Azure AD, F5, Barracudao Installing and supporting vendor digital engineering / MBSE tools to include NoMagic Cameo, IBM DOORS, Sparx, MathWorks MATLAB, Dassault 3DS, and others SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadlineCovid Policy:
