The Central Alabama Veteran Health Care System located in Montgomery and Tuskegee, AL is seeking one full-time energetic Dermatologist to provide evaluation, diagnosis, consultation and provision of care to the skin, its appendages and its diseases, a unique specialty with both medical and surgical aspects.

A dermatologist takes care of diseases, in the widest sense, and some cosmetic problems of the skin, scalp, hair, and nails.

Provides direct patient care

Provides excellent customer Service

Provides quality management

Utilization review and management

Provide administrative functions as assigned

Work Schedule: (Monday - Friday 8:00a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) May be required to work weekends, holidays as needed

Salary Range: up to $300,000 per year

Recruitment/Relocation incentive may be available for a highly qualified candidate

Selected candidate may be able to apply for education loan assistance thru the Education Debt Education Program (EDRP). Participation is based on funds availability.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
US Citizenship. Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA policy

Must be proficient in written and spoken English

Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine

Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology

Must possess BLS CertificationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
