Role Description :
Ciber, Inc. is currently seeking an Oracle Developer in the Montgomery, AL area. This role performs complex analysis, design, and programming to develop cross platform automated information exchange systems.
Responsibilities :
Works with both technical and functional personnel from multiple agencies to understand and document technical resources and business requirements.
Analyzes requirements and data structures to design systems to facilitate information exchange from multiple RDBMS platforms.
Required to develop system documentation including program specifications, impact analyses, detail designs and implementation plans.
Performs testing of modifications and enhancements to ensure system plans and system integrity.
Debugs and resolves production problems.

Qualifications
Minimum 7 years experience designing, developing, and maintaining web-enabled applications in an Oracle 8i Database 8iAS Application Server or Higher environment
Minimum 10 years experience developing and maintaining forms using Oracle Forms Developer
Minimum 10 years experience developing and maintaining reports using Oracle Reports Developer
Minimum 5 years experience developing and maintaining queries and scripts using Oracle Discoverer
Minimum 10 years experience writing, customizing, and maintaining software code using Oracle PL/SQL
Minimum 10 years experience developing and maintaining an Oracle-based cross platform integration project
Skills Requirements :
Professional Communications Skills- Must possess the skill to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with functional staff, managers, and other IT professionals, both on an individual and group basis. Minimum of 10 years experience.
Systems Analyst Skills - Must possess the skills to analyze functional requirements and design efficient applications. Will be required to conduct requirements-gathering sessions with functional staff, match resources to requirements and design automated systems to fulfill those requirements. Minimum of 10 years experience.
Data Flow Analysis Skills - Must possess the ability to analyze data relationships and access requirements in order to design and develop RDBMS structures which efficiently support the access requirements of both functional and IT development staff. Minimum of 10 years experience.
Project Management Skills - Must possess the skill to plan, manage, and coordinate tasks associated with development projects. Will be required to conduct design and development meetings, develop time lines, assign due dates, and manage project deadlines. Minimum of 10 years experience.
Environment-Specific Experience Requirements :
Minimum 7 years of experience designing and developing applications in an Oracle Bi Database/BiAS Application Server or higher environment.
Minimum 7 years of experience designing and developing interface applications in an Oracle Bi Database/BiAS Application Server or higher environment to facilitate collection, dissemination, and update of information from multiple RDBMS platforms including other Oracle-based systems, Microsoft SQL server, IBM DB2 and IBM CICS. Must include experience developing SQL code to both extract and update information from databases related to each platform and formatting transactions to synchronize updates across multiple platforms.
This position requires the successful completion of a background investigation and/or drug screen.
