As chief academic officer of the College campus, provides administrative leadership and direction to the College's teaching and public services programs. Articulates the College's vision of academic distinction, instructional excellence, student retention, and student satisfaction. Participates in the general leadership and direction of the College.
The Dean position requires an earned graduate degree from an accredited institution. In addition, qualified candidates should have 3 to 6 years of organizational/administrative skills and educational delivery experience, including teaching experience.
For Deans in a skilled environment, a bachelor's degree will be considered provided the candidate has the necessary technical skills and experience.
Where applicable, state or accreditation regulations may require a master's level or higher degree
Skill in organizing resources, establishing priorities, plan and evaluate programs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Skill in budget preparation and fiscal management.
Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
