Key Role:
Provide Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and Security Engineering expertise and support to the Air Force Office of the Civil Engineer (A7CRT), including the development of C&A artifacts to support system accreditations, E/APL processing, vulnerability assessments, input of C&A responses into the Air Force eMASS system, and working with Air Force A4/7 validators to ensure compliance with DoDI 8510.01 DIACAP, DoDI 8500.2 IA Implementation, and FISMA reporting requirements for continuous monitoring. Collaborate with system engineers to assist with the definition of security requirements and design. Complete manual and automated security tests and DISA STIG validations in Windows and Linux server environments. Provide oversight to help address findings discovered during security testing.
Basic
Qualifications:
-8 years of experience with DoD, AF, or NIST Certification and Accreditation (C&A) under DoDI 8510.01 or NIST 800-53
-Experience with evaluating security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies for Web-based systems and applications
-Knowledge of DoD and AF IA policies and procedures
-Secret clearance
-AA or AS degree in CS or Computer Security
-DoDD 8570.01-M Identified IA Certification for IAM Level I
Additional
Qualifications:
-Experience with performing and analyzing results from security risk assessments using DISA Gold Disk/SRRs, eEye Retina, or any SCAP compliant scanner
-Experience in implementing or validating compliance with DISA Application, OS, and DB STIGs
-Experience with USAF Enterprise/Approved Products List
-Knowledge of the Systems Engineering Process (SEP)
