Food Service Worker Supervisor
This position is located in the Nutrition and Food Service of the Central Alabama VA Health Care System (Montgomery Campus), Montgomery, AL.
Major duties and responsibilities include:
Directs food service activities to include tray assembly in a conventional cook operations, ingredient control, etc.
Plans rotating master schedule and posts accordingly;Coordinates daily work assignments to cover necessary jobs;Reviews production reports to ensure menu items are available;Implements master sanitation schedule to ensure sanitation and food safety guidelines are met;Observes workers in various areas on job performance;Completes new employee orientation and conducts on-the-job training; Administrative duties include leave administration, performance evaluations; disciplinary action; preparing reports of inoperative or damaged equipment and unsafe conditions; etc.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
