Marketing Data Analyst
Primary
Responsibilities:
oPrimarily involved with helping establish new, actionable, operating metrics and reports
oExecuting various marketing/data analyses and reporting activities at both the business unit and corporate levels
oTest, track, segment, and optimize campaigns across both print and digital marketing vehicles--proactively fill data gaps.
oIdentify and execute appropriate marketing analysis and testing methods to gain insights on the business.
oEnsure selection of the most appropriate research methodology and techniques to meet the business need.
oEnsure proper design, execution, analysis, and reporting for all marketing promotions and testing.
oDevelop, execute, analyze, and report conclusions on surveys and other forms of primary research.
oPartners with IT, store operations, collections and others on systems development for the efficient collection, processing, warehousing, and accessing of customer information.
oDevelops metrics and reporting on customer data quality; provides recommendations for data quality improvement.
Desired Skills and Experience
oBachelor's degree in Marketing, Mathematics, or related field; MBA a plus.
oMinimum 4-6 years experience in analysis of marketing and customer data, preferably in a financial services or retail organization
oCompetency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint--exceptional skills required in the use of Microsoft Excel. MS Query a plus.
oFamiliarity with SQL and/or SAS a plus.
oExperience with a computer mapping software a plus (Tactician, Mapinfo)
oFamiliar with various web tracking software such as Google Analytics
oExpert at marketing analysis principles, procedures, and technologies.
oStrong knowledge of and experience with business statistics--must exhibit an innate ability to draw conclusions from the data.
oExpert in customer data systems and technologies, hygiene resources, and processes.
oAbility to balance multiple, diverse priorities and produce deliverables of high quality
oAbility to work cross functionally and develop positive working relationships across units/districts
oA quick study--able to grasp new concepts and tools readily and apply to the business quickly.
oProven excellence in planning, organization, coordination and time management skills.
oSelf-motivated, comfortable operating in an environment of transparency and unquestioned integrity.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
