Tankless Product Development Engineer
Salary:
$80,000 - $90,000
- Work within cross-functional team serving as Tankless Water Heater technical expert and liaison
- Design tankless water heaters and related components.
Will lead tankless water heater design project activities coordinating all phases of development.
- Prepare and coordinate design specification and production drawings for tankless water heater designs.
- Work with suppliers on component selection and qualification.
- Develop evaluation test plans and coordinate with designers and lab personnel on test set-up, data acquisition, interpretation of data and means for achieving desired results.
New developmental group being formed within the Division R & D organization.
Montgomery, AL location, salary range is 80-90k, excellent relocation package.
The need is for 3
years of tankless water heater development OR will consider someone with experience in the design of boilers, furnaces, burners or similar combustion type of equipment.
Requirements:
- BSME or comparable degree required
- Minimum three years related experience with design and development of tankless water heaters OR experience in product design/development of boilers, furnaces, burners or similar combustion type of products.
- Preference for Pro-Engineer solid modelling software
- Preference for water heater, HVAC, or cooking appliance design experience
.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
