Operations Research Analyst, Mid
Key Role:
Support the analysis and management of language immersion events, including Language Intensive Training Events (LITE) for the Air Force Culture and Language Center (AFCLC). Evaluate student management, enrollment processes, and information systems. Provide recommendations to streamline scheduling and enrollment activities, travel management, and student data management. Develop metrics to monitor student progress and performance and prepare trend projections and statistics reports. Evaluate and manage extensive and detailed coordination for LEAP participants' domestic or international travel, including providing logistical support to LITE travelers, creating travel and flight itineraries, monitoring and updating aircraft automated clearance systems, including APACS requests, providing support for LEAP participants in the application and completion of visas and passports, and providing ongoing client support to LEAP participants. This position is located in Montgomery, AL.
Basic
Qualifications:
Experience with defense travel policies and systems
Experience with Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010, including Access and Excel
Experience with conducting research and data gathering to develop sound courses of action for implementation
Ability to be detail oriented
Secret clearance
BA or BS degree
Additional
Qualifications:
Experience with serving as a former Air Force non commissioned officer
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
