Perform preventative maintenance procedures to ensure equipment reliability and train team members on technical processesRoles and Responsibilities o Supports the production team as the mechanical experto Ensures production and support equipment are functioning properlyo Performs preventative maintenance procedureso Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctionso Makes repairs or adjustments to equipment as neededo Performs basic electrical duties (replace motors, switches, PE, etc.
)o Performs package change over on lines as requiredo Supports the team on all aspects of the operationo Trains team members on mechanical processo Focuses on continuous improvemento Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with ISO Good Manufacturing Practices standardsRequirements o Minimum age 18 years oldo Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policieso Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the jobo Ability to read, write and speak Englisho Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelineso Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assetso Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technologyo High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 2-4 years related experience &/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceo Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as requiredo Proficient knowledge in the operation of continuous motion packaging, filling, and palletizing equipmento Effective problem-solving skillso Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formo Knowledge of various mechanical processes is necessary (hydraulics, pneumatics, etc)o Ability to work with all functional team memberso Ability to communicate effectivelyo Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technologyo Frequent walking, grasping, pushing, pulling, fine manipulation and exposure to chemicalso Repeated exposure to water and noiseCCBCU is an Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled.
