Professional and Personal Accomplishments

Maintained excellent relationships with customers.  Entered customers purchases into POS.  Assisted with the answering of telephone calls using polite customer service etiquette.  Responsible for opening and closing registers.  Also executed and understood all payment procedures.  Knowledgeable of register system and all functions relevant to systems service. Was able to manage the purchasing and exchanges of merchandise.  Availability flexible (for any nights and weekends).

Dedicated caregiver for elderly Mother, duties included managing her extensive medical and physical needs.   Coordinated all doctor appointments and directed in home therapies to insure compliance.  This involved monitoring blood pressure, glucose levels, and administering all medications.  Handled the finances and household duties of cleaning and cooking and worked closely with a licensed dietician (Cared for bedridden mother for three years). 

Effective Customer Service Representative for ASU collecting pertinent information that formed school policies and guidelines in the following areas: recreation options, vending machines, merchandise choices and student absences.   Communicated and administered college calendar of events that included all significant dates effecting students.  Supervised fraternity and sorority meetings and determined control procedures to be used for disciplinary action.  Planned the operation and function of a given area when dealing with student activities, accomplished all goals necessary for given area (disciplinary action, protocol as mandated by the university) provided employees and students with guidance, leadership and support necessary to ensure that the plan to achieve designated goals for student populace.  Evaluated, received and assessed the  planning and success of goals in student union.

Classroom English teacher for secondary 9-12 grade level, duties included composing and implementing lessons plans for over 50 students.   Managed classroom activities, student demographics, and administered school policies.  Mentored students in order to prepare them to successfully pass year end graduation and integrity exams.

 

 

 

Responded to client inquiries, researched information that was obtained from clients and past employers using available resources.  Handled and resolved customer complaints.  Provide claimants and former employers with service information.  Processed complaints obtained from clients as well as former employers.  Processed benefit, forms and queries obtained from fact finding to be input into the computer later accessed to complete forms. Identify and escalate priority issues, route calls to appropriate departments, follow-up client calls when necessary. Finalization involved completing call logs and complete call reports.

Organized and executed the Alabama Medicaid transportation program to insure full utilization with maximum efficiencies. Planned the operation and function of given area(s), as assigned.  Directed and provided employees with enough guidance, direction, leadership and support necessary to ensure that plans necessary to achieve success would be executed.  I quadrupled participation in this program by facilitating patient scheduling resulting in better compliance with doctor’s appointments.  Helped patients with their medical records and was commended by the State Department of Transportation.   Produced weekly and monthly reports requested by various departments.

Excellent retail customer service that maintained good client relationships.  Responsible for customer purchases, cash flow, gift cards, and return sales.
